Event Two

Few Eastside neighborhoods carry the prestige of Medina, and this trek gives us a chance to explore its quiet streets and sweeping views. Our 5-mile route winds past elegant homes, through the Overlake Golf & Country Club, and out toward Medina Beach Park, where the water stretches west toward Seattle and Mount Rainier often hovers in the distance.

Event One

Our December 16th outing begins in the most fitting way possible — at Larsen’s Bakery, a true neighborhood institution where the scent of cardamom, butter, and almond paste carries into the crisp winter air. From here, we set off with sweet inspiration, heading toward the Loyal Heights Playfield. Even in the quiet of winter, the playfield hums with the memory of summer ballgames and community gatherings, a reminder of how these green corners knit together the fabric of Seattle life.
