We offer three ways to participate in Tenderfoot Adventures, each designed to meet different levels of engagement. Choose the path that fits your adventure style.

MEMBERSHIP & ATTENDANCE OPTIONS

    The best value for committed adventurers.

    For those who want Tenderfoot Adventures woven into their lifestyle, an Annual Membership provides full access to the heart of our community and year-round offerings.

    Single Membership — $450/year

    Couples Membership — $750/year

    Members receive:

    Unlimited access to weekly hikes (Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sun)

    First rights to overnight getaways, national park trips, and international adventures

    Invitations to exclusive member-only events

    Discounts on merchandise, photos, and selected travel opportunities

    Full participation in the Field Journal Challenge

    Priority communication on updates, logistics, and special trips

    A supportive community that values curiosity, discovery, and connection

    Membership directly supports the planning, permits, insurance, logistics, education, and creativity that go into each Tenderfoot experience.

    Pay-as-you-go with full community inclusion.

    For those who want to be part of the Tenderfoot community without committing to an annual membership, this tier offers flexibility while still giving access to most of our weekly outings and social experiences.

    Community Rates (Starting January 1, 2026):

    Tuesday Treks

    $12 per event

    Wednesdays — Eastside Treks & Rotating Events

    Range: $12–$18, depending on the event

    Thursdays & Sundays — Mountain Hikes & Prime-Time Events

    $18 per event

    Community Participants receive:

    Access to weekly treks (Tue–Sun)

    Access to Tenderfoot social events

    Weekly newsletter with updates, stories, and upcoming opportunities

    A welcoming, consistent hiking community

    They do not receive:

    Early access to overnight trips

    Priority booking for national park or international journeys

    Member-only discounts or perks

  • NON-MEMBER ATTENDANCE

    One-time participation at premium rates. (Not affiliated as a guest of an existing member)

    Public guests are individuals who join us without being part of the Tenderfoot community on Meetup or our newsletter list. These participants are always welcome, but pay full premium rates out of fairness to our members and community participants.

    Signature Tuesday Treks:

    $19–$29

    Wednesday Eastside Events:

    $19–$39

    Signature Thursday & Sunday Hikes:

    $49–$79

    Overnight Getaways, National Park Trips, and International Travel:
    Pricing varies depending on the trip structure, lodging, permits, and travel requirements.
    Please inquire directly for customized pricing.

    Public guests do not receive newsletters, community announcements, or access to exclusive opportunities.

Yes. Public guests may join at Tier 3 rates.

Who should choose the Annual Membership?
Anyone who hikes weekly or wants priority access to big trips.

Who should choose Pay-as-you-go Membership?
Those who want a flexible, lower-cost way to stay connected without a full membership.

Are memberships refundable?
Memberships are non-refundable and valid for 12 months.

How do I know which hikes are right for me?
Each event listing includes distance, elevation, pace, and difficulty.
